Barnett Elementary School opened in September 1992. We are a TK-6th grade elementary school with 33 classrooms, a large Library-Media Center, a Computer Lab, and a Multi Purpose Room. The campus has been designed to complement the natural surroundings of its location. A creek bed and many large oak trees on campus provide a beautiful setting for learning.

Barnett Elementary School is located in the beautiful country setting of Ramona, California. Ramona has a population of over 22,000 and is located 36 miles northeast of San Diego, in the foothills of the Cuyamaca Mountains at an elevation of 1400 feet. Venture over the mountains and you will be in beautiful Anza Borrego Desert. Known as the Valley of the Sun, Ramona boasts clean, clear air and glorious days of sunshine and gentle breezes. Summertime temperatures average in the 90's, giving way to cool, pleasant evenings. Wintertime temperatures average in the 60's providing a slight crispness to the warmth of the sun.
